Terms of use
ImageExtract is free to use, with no account. By using it you agree to these terms.
What the tool does
You give it the address of a public web page. It reads that page's HTML, lists the images referenced there, and lets you preview, filter, and download them.
It doesn't create images, own them, or grant you any rights to them. It finds addresses that are already published on a page and fetches them on your behalf.
Your responsibility for what you download
The images belong to whoever made them. Finding an image with this tool gives you no right to use it.
Copyright, trademark, licensing, model releases, and every other restriction apply exactly as they would if you had saved the image from your browser. Working out what you're allowed to do with a file is your responsibility, not ours, and we have no way to know.
If you're not sure whether you can use something, assume you can't.
What you may not use it for
- Downloading material you have no right to download
- Redistributing images in ways their rights holders haven't permitted
- Getting at content behind a login, paywall, or other access control
- Circumventing technical measures a site uses to restrict access
- Automating the service, scripting it, or reselling access to it
- Anything illegal where you are
We enforce per-network request limits to keep the service usable. Don't work around them.
Sites can opt out
Site owners who don't want their pages scanned can write tosupport@imageextract.pics and have their domain excluded. See /traffic for what the tool's requests actually do.
Takedown requests
If material accessible through this tool infringes your copyright, write tosupport@imageextract.pics with:
- What the work is
- The URL where it appears
- A statement that you own the rights or act for the owner
- Your contact details
We don't host images. Nothing you scan or download is stored on our servers, so there is no copy for us to remove — but we can exclude a domain from the tool entirely, and we'll do that where a claim is credible.
Where the material is on a site we don't control, the takedown belongs with that site or its host. We can only stop our tool from reaching it.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is. It may be unavailable, may fail to find images on a page, may return images you didn't expect, and may change or stop at any time without notice.
We don't guarantee that it works, that results are complete, or that it's fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the service — including consequences of what you download or how you use it.
Changes
If these terms change, the date below changes with them. Continuing to use the service means accepting the version in effect.
